So, I didn't think hipsters actually existed until last night. My impression was that it was just an epithet thrown at young people who are in the Avenue Q phase of their lives, because apparently they have too much fun. Or something.

Then I saw a hipster at the Diesel last night.

So they do in fact exist.

A couple very scary things to note about this quote from Caitlin Flanagan:

1. These girls are taking a stand for human dignity by among other things, being major fans of the Twilight novels, according to Flanagan.

2. Flanagan is right.
